Hi, I am Susan Beckman, your elected county supervisor and policymaking County Commissioner representing District one. It is my privilege to serve you as the Chairman of the Board of the Arapahoe County Commissioners. District one is made up of the cities of Littleton, Glendale, Sheridan, Englewood, Bow Mar, Columbine Valley, Centennial and the western portion of unincorporated Arapahoe County. My commitment has been to limit government regulations and keep taxes low while also ensuring that your county government is effective and well managed in the areas that you expect.

As your Commissioner, I have focused on issues that matter to you; transportation, senior services, environmental issues and efficient government. I believe in hard work, open government, attention to detail, forward thinking and fiscal accountability. That is what you deserve from your elected representative.

Whenever we can we facilitate opportunities to do county business, like renewing your driver’s license or paying property taxes online, we should. It just makes good common sense.

Many times I have walked this district, first as a Littleton City Council candidate and now as a County Commissioner candidate, and there is one thing I know for sure. This community does not want political partisan bickering or special interest, to stand in the way of good, efficient local government. Instead you have asked for real, thoughtful and researched solutions to the issues facing Arapahoe County. I am committed to doing just that!
